Winter Wrap Up

Well winter was long but awesome, and here at Mountain Madness Tours we had a blast living the dream every weekend. Hope you had as much fun as we did.  We took various sized groups on day trips and weekends to a large variety of locations. Some of the popular locations included: Marmot Basin, Powder King, Jasper, Banff, Norquay, Kicking Horse and even took a family on tour to Vancouver Island.

Exciting news for next winter

I know winter is the furthest thing from your mind, but here are some exciting developments to help you plan ahead. 

We'll be offering new packages in addition to our current popular locations for skiing and snowboarding trips. These new locations include Powder King, Kimberly, Panorama, Kicking Horse and other awesome activities such as Dog Sledding in Canmore, Sledding at Kicking Horse and my personal favourite Heli or Cat Skiing / Boarding with Mike Wiegele Heli Skiing in Blue River BC. This package offers intermediate level skiers and boarders the opportunity to elevate your experience one day at a time. We can help you put a package together like this including transport from Edmonton.

Skydiving 

It's summer, it's nice and warm, you're sitting in the back yard listening to the birds and you think to yourself, I'd really like to fly like a bird one day. 

Well the great news is THIS SUMMER YOU CAN!

All you need to do is give us a ring today and pretty soon after you'll be jumping out the door of an aeroplane from 12500 ft attached to an experienced tandem instructor from the best drop zone in Alberta, Skydive Eden North. If you feel the need to jump by yourself then you can sign up for a first jump solo course. The drop zone is now open Wednesday through to Sunday.

Whitewater Rafting

Water in summer is amazing, you know why? Because it's not frozen, and White water is even more fun.

We've got lots of options for rafting trips this summer. Locations include Kicking Horse, Jasper, Banff and Grande Cache.

Wine Tours to Penticton

Want to go on a wine tour but not so keen on driving from Edmonton to Penticton. Let us take all the hassle out of your wine tour and just relax in the back with your friends. There are so many wineries in the Penticton area, you'll be spoiled for choice. The wine tasting is free and you'll have a unique opportunity to try and buy wines that rarely see the supermarket shelves here in Edmonton.

Want to add some adventure to your next Stag or Stagette party?

Mountain Madness Tours recently set up a booth at Bridal Fantasy. We unleashed some exciting options for stags and stagettes to the Brides and Grooms of Edmonton. You’ve partied on Whyte ave and down town hundreds of times already. Why not do something different, active and outdoors. Check out the activities page on our website for some cool ideas or the Stag / Stagette page. We can turn any of our activities into a stag or stagette, and can be a limo for your night out on the town afterwards.

Thanks for reading and the last update

Our 9 passenger van has lots of space for your summer equipment. There is lots of head room and a dvd player to help the drive there and back go that little bit quicker. We have our secure enclosed trailer available for road bikes, mountain bikes or if you just have lots of gear to bring with you. 

You can design your perfect day trip or weekend away and we can simply get you there and back or we can help you plan, organize and book all parts of your ideal getaway.

Everything is custom and flexible to suit you and your friends. We'll even pick you up and drop you off at your front door. Think of us as your own private limo to the mountains.

Exciting times ahead:

In order to cope with medium to large sized groups Mountain Madness Tours is excited to be partnering with two fantastic local businesses, Backside Tours and Bob's Bus.   

We will continue to serve and concentrate on the smaller sized group but If you have a larger group of 10 to 50 people and are interested in any of our packages you can now contact us and we can put something together for you. By working together with our new partners we can help you and your friends live the dream no matter what sized group you have.
