Monday: Drive to Mike Wiegele's Heli ski resort in Blue River (approx 2 1/2 hrs drive) Heli ski or board 5 runs (exra runs available at additional cost). Lunch included. Stay in one of Mike Wiegele's 22 luxurious log cabins. Gourmet dinner included.

Tuesday: Full buffet breakfast then drive back to Edmonton.

Single day heliskiing

This unique package offers intermediate level skiers/boarders the opportunity to ski or board 8 amazing peaks surrounding Blue River. Starting with a helicopter pick-up, skiers experience the thrill of being flown to the top of some of our best runs to try the most incredible and lightest powder around. The 8 Peaks terrain is a combination of both the Monashee and Cariboo mountain ranges that are located in close proximately to the world famous Mike Wiegele Heliskiing Resort in Blue River.

Accommodation & Meals:

End your powder experience with a gourmet meal, accommodation in one of our handcrafted log chalets and a full breakfast buffet the following morning for $300.00. (based on double occupancy, subject to availability)

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing reserves the right to cancel 12 hours prior if bookings to not meet a minimum of 4 guests. Please note that guests will receive a full refund as a result of cancellation by MWHS due to bad weather or if bookings do not meet the required 4 seat minimum.

FOUNDED: Founded in 1970 by Mike Wiegele

MOUNTAIN RANGES: Cariboo and Monashee mountain ranges

SKI TERRAIN: Measures 40 miles (64km) from East to West and 80 miles (128km) from North to South, 1,000 peaks and runs over 1,750 square miles (4,550 square kilometers), 553 named runs.

ELEVATIONS: Blue River Heli Resort and Albreda Lodge at 2,240 feet (683m), ski/board at 3,400 - 11,600 feet (1,046 - 3,569m), average landing at 8,000 feet (2,462m).

SNOWFALL: Consistent accumulations of 30 feet (10m) or more is normal.

HELI VILLAGE RESORT: In Blue River, BC, on the shore of Eleanor Lake, the resort features a 22,000 square foot main lodge, 22 guest chalets and the Bavarian Estate, Administration Building/Guest Lobby, Sports Shop, Laundry and Guides Haus.

ALBREDA LODGE: Located 45km north of Blue River, luxurious 20 person self contained lodge with all the amenities of the Blue River Resort
